All programs are free and open to all. This project is made possible, in part, with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and administered by the Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts.”

PUBLIC LIBRARIES ADVANCING COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT is a program that has been described as “book club meets science cafe”.  The Indian Lake Library will be participating in a series of community programs, open to all, (teens to adults) to consider the local impact of climate change to develop local adaptation strategies.  Using book discussions, videos and the expertise of meteorologists, we will try to come up with different ways to think about and react to change!  Look for a program series coming up June-November, 2017
